How are our RDM4 RFID Readers used?

  • The reader is connected via Ethernet port to the network and via USB port to a PC.
  • From a web browser, start the application that carries the reader and configure the sending of readings to a destination (in URL format, where the readings will be processed).
  • The information can be sent by HTTP POST or MQTT protocol, to integrate this data in the solutions used by the customer for stock control, logistic control, step control in industrial production processes, etc.

Features of the RDM4 RFID reader

  • Ability to connect 4 antennas to the reader, and because it is capable of connecting a multiplexer, you can extend the connection up to 8 or even 16 antennas. This functionality is controlled from the web application as well.
  • Elements such as horns, buzzers, light signals, traffic lights or presence sensors can be connected through the GPIO port. This functionality is especially useful in sectors such as industrial, logistics, in warehouses or even in fashion retail stores.
