RFID readers model RD4
A compact, high connectivity RFID reader
The RD4 RFID reader is a compact, small-sized reader. It is intended to be part of systems that are in constant movement (transport trucks, warehouse trucks or even shopping carts). D The RD4 has been developed to offer high performance, but starting from a compact, lightweight and versatile product concept. The RD4 has a high level of autonomy, as it is able to send data without having to be connected by network cable, and can be powered from a USB port. The reading information is sent via LTE or WIFI, depending on the product version purchased.

How to use our RD4 RFID Readers?
- For the initial configuration to send readings, the RD4 is connected to a PC via USB.
- Once configured, the RD4 will be taken to the space where it is to be installed and connected to the power supply.
- Finally, the RFID antennas will be connected, the Internet connection antenna and the antenna that sends the data that locates the readings (GPRS). After this installation, the RD4 will be sending the reading data. Normally it will be inside a housing with a power supply, which will have an on/off button to start or stop reading.
Features of the RD4 RFID reader
While the RDM4 is our most complete model in certain areas, the RD4 version has unique features that make it ideal for other scenarios, offering advanced connectivity solutions:
- The RD4 WIFI version uses one of the two SMA ports on the side to connect to the Internet via WIFI.
- The LTE version uses the same port to connect to the internet via LTE, which is the 4G connection of cell phones. In fact, it has a slot for inserting a SIM card.
- The RD4 LTE version uses the same port to connect to the Internet via LTE. This version has a slot to insert the SIM card.
